Woman arrested in murder probe after 'car deliberately driven at man'

Police said a 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident in Clydebank.

A woman has been arrested and released after a car was driven at a man in West Dunbartonshire.

Police launched an attempted murder investigation after a white Toyota C-HR car allegedly targeted a 31-year-old man in the Crown Avenue area of Clydebank at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

The man was not injured, and the car was driven off in the direction of Kilbowie Road.

Police confirmed a 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released pending further enquires.

A spokesman for the force said: “A 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
