A woman has been arrested two months on from the death of a “beloved” dad in Uddingston.

David Graham was taken to hospital after being allegedly attacked while walking alone in General’s Gate in Uddingston at about 7.35pm on Sunday, October 6.

Mr Graham, from Cambuslang, was pronounced dead on arrival at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

Following a post-mortem examination, police said they were treating Mr Graham’s death as murder.

Police confirmed they arrested a 35-year-old woman on Friday in connection with allegedly attempting to pervert the course of justice concerning Mr Graham’s death.

She was released pending further enquiries.

A 29-year-old man was previously arrested and charged with Mr Graham’s murder.

Liam Kippen appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 10. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Two other men were also arrested in connection with Mr Graham’s death, however they were released pending further enquiries.
