A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man who was found seriously injured died in hospital in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a property in Braid Square shortly after midnight on Saturday.
A 30-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Monday, police said.
The man was named in court as Joseph McGready. His next of kin have been informed, officers confirmed.
Police confirmed on Monday afternoon that a 47-year-old woman had been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Amanda Welsh later appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, impairment, danger to life and attempted murder.
Court papers state that Welsh acted with another when she repeatedly struck Mr McGready on the head and body with a knife.
She made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
She is due to appear at court again within eight days.
