A woman and child have been arrested following an incident in Cumbernauld town centre.
Police were called to the Tryst Road area around 5.30pm on Sunday, February 11, following reports of a disturbance.
A 34-year-old woman and 13-year-old girl were arrested and charged in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 5.30pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024, to a report of a disturbance in the Tryst Road area of Cumbernauld.
“Two females ages 34 and 13, were arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
“Reports will be sent to the relevant authorities.”
