A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a crash near Cumnock.
Emergency services were called to the A70 Muirkirk Road around 8am on Friday following reports of a collision.
An ambulance, an air ambulance and a critical care team were sent to the scene, and a woman was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Her condition is currently unknown.
The A70 has been closed, and drivers are urged to use alternative routes.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call today around 8.01am to attend an incident on the A70, Muirkirk Road near Cumnock.
“We dispatched one ambulance, an air ambulance and our critical care team to the scene. We airlifted one female patient to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
