A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a woman was found seriously injured at Queens Court, Dunoon.

A woman was airlifted to hospital after being found injured at a property in Dunoon.

Emergency services were called to Queens Court, Dunoon, at around 6pm on Thursday, after a 35-year-old woman was found seriously injured within a property.

The woman was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a 35-year-old woman was found seriously injured at a property in Queens Court, Dunoon, around 6pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

“The woman was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

“The 37-year-old man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, May 6, 2024.”
