Google MapsA woman has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Ayr earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to reports of a 42-year-old found seriously injured at a property on Glenmuir Place around 8.10pm on July 5.
Mark Blackwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Friday, Jade Bell appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court where she faced a charge of murder.
The 40-year-old, from Troon, made no plea during an initial appearance and was remanded in custody.
She will appear in court again within the next eight days.
