Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a mass brawl on a train.

The fight, involving a large group of youths, happened on a service between Balloch in West Dunbartonshire and Anniesland railway station in Glasgow at around 6.24pm on Thursday.

British Transport Police (BTP) said one person was arrested in connection with a breach of the peace offence and has since been released while enquiries continue.

A BTP spokesperson said: “Three people received treatment for superficial injuries.
