Three men have been left injured following a disturbance in Glasgow city centre.

Police are looking for witnesses to the brawl that took place on St Vincent Street, near to its junction with Renfield Street, just before midnight on Saturday.

A 29-year-old suffered a facial injury after being seriously assaulted and was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Two other men, a 30 and a 27-year-old, both were left with minor injuries.

Officers investigating the incident are now appealing for information as they look to establish the full circumstances.

Detective Inspector Barrie Kirkland, of Govan Police Office, said: “Enquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident.

“The area would have been busy at this time and we are appealing to anyone that may have information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.”
