The man behind an infamous Willy Wonka Experience event is to stand trial charged with sex attacks on a woman and two teenagers.

William Coull, 38, faces the allegations which span a near 18-year period.

He is first said to have molested a 14-year-old boy in Glasgow’s Gorbals – including a secluded area near the city’s sheriff court – on December 1, 2006.

Coull is then accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at property in the city’s east end on July 7, 2024.

This features claims he repeatedly touched her leg, tried to kiss her, seized her body and pushed her against a wall.

Coull is also alleged to have raped a woman on that date at the same address.

She is said to have been “intoxicated and incapable of consenting”.

He faces an alternative accusation to the rape charge of sexual assault.

The case called for a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.

Coull’s lawyer Andrew Crosbie pled not guilty on his behalf.

Both the defence advocate and prosecutor Alan MacKay agreed a trial could be fixed.

Lord Arthurson went on to set a date and the case is scheduled to begin in June 2027.

Coull, of the city’s Knightswood, remains on bail meantime.

Coull made news across the world in 2024 after photos of his bizarre Wonka event – at £35 ticket – went viral on social media.

The “Willy’s Chocolate Experience” had been advertised by with fantasy images of sweetie-themed worlds – inspired by the Roald Dahl character and the Wonka films.

Families were instead confronted with an “abandoned and empty warehouse” in Glasgow filled with drab props and actors reading from an AI-generated script.
