Railway lines west of Glasgow have been closed on Monday due to a gas leak near to the tracks.
Services between Dalmuir and Dumbarton Central have been cancelled due to the incident between Dumbarton East and Bowling.
Network Rail has confirmed that it is not safe for trains to travel through due to the proximity of the leak.
Those affected by the cancellations have been urged to use alternative routes, Glasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk High/Shotts or Glasgow Queen Street to Falkirk Grahamston.
A Network Rail response team is en route to the scene.
The latest update reads: “This affects @ScotRail North Clyde services to/from Balloch and Helensburgh Central and the West Highland Line between Glasgow Queen Street and Helensburgh Upper.
“Given how close the leak is to the railway, it’s not safe to run trains past the area. More soon.”
