Spider-Man was spotted swinging through Glasgow city centre as filming for Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster continues.
The shoot for the latest instalment in the Marvel franchise kicked off on July 31 and will continue across the city until August 15.
Production for the film has transformed Glasgow into New York City with prop construction sites, New York Police Department vehicles, and classic yellow taxis spotted.

Fans have lined the streets daily to catch a glimpse of the action as tanks and cars sped through the streets.
Excitement reached new levels on Sunday when Tom Holland, who plays the web-slinging hero, made an appearance and stopped to interact with fans.
The action has continued throughout Glasgow on Tuesday as filming continued despite the blustery winds brought on by Storm Floris.

Holland’s stunt double was seen swinging from truck-mounted apparatus driving down Bothwell Street in the city centre.
Despite it not being Tom Holland under the mask, fans were overjoyed to see the web-slinger in their city.

Fans cheered as Spider-Man waved to crowds from on top of a tank that drove through the street.
One fan told STV News: “We’ve been here for about an hour now, and just hoping to catch a glimpse of Tom.”

Another said: “We’ve been here for about 20 minutes, but we came the other day and it was really exciting, it’s great for the city.”
In the most recent movie, released in 2021, Holland and his fellow alternate Spider-Men, played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in other movies, came into contact due to a multiverse event.
The movie smashed box-office records in its opening weekend and nearly surpassed Marvel’s Avengers movies.
