A Scots footballer accused of a string of road traffic offences has a warrant out for his arrest.
Botti Biabi, 28, failed to appear at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace court on Friday.
The former Swansea City, Falkirk, Hamilton Accies and Kelty Hearts forward is accused of five charges.
Court papers state Biabi stole a quantity of fuel from a Morrison’s in the city’s Anniesland on June 16, 2023.
Another allegation says Biabi drove without insurance on the same day behind the wheel of an Audi A3.
A further charge claims the Drumchapel United player failed to identify the driver of the car to police when requested to do so.
A fourth alleged offence states Biabi drove without insurance in the city’s Dumbarton Road on July 18, 2023.
The final charge claims that Biabi failed to comply with a ‘Stop’ sign in the city’s Springburn on August 24, 2023.
A warrant for Biabi’s arrest was granted by Justice Craig Stevens.
Biabi appeared last month for separate alleged summary offences at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He allegedly had possession of cocaine with intent to supply on January 17, 2023.
Biabi is also claimed to have been in possession of cocaine in the Gorbals on the same date.
He faces a third allegation of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The charge states that Biabi, of Anniesland, shouted and swore on Crown Street.
Biabi’s final allegation claims that he intentionally obstructed police officers.
It is said that Biabi struggled with both officers.
A trial for these matters was set for later this month.
