A vulnerable pensioner with dementia who disappeared in Edinburgh has been found “safe and well”.
Police launched a search for Lorraine Ross, 72, after she was last seen leaving her house in the city’s Lasswade Road for a walk at around 10am on Sunday.
Following a public appeal, the force later confirmed she had been traced and was “safe and well”.
A police spokesperson added: “Thank you very much for your assistance with this appeal.”
