A vehicle burst into flames on a town’s main street in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Cambuslang’s Main Street at around 10.36am on Monday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service responded with two appliances and extinguished the blaze while Police Scotland assisted with traffic management.
A Fire Service spokesperson said there were no reports of any casualties.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.36am on Monday, May 30, to reports of a vehicle on fire on Cambuslang’s Main Street.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene where firefighters extinguished the fire and made the area safe before leaving the scene.
“There were no casualties.”
