Google MapsA van driver has been charged a year after a man was knocked down and killed while walking in South Lanarkshire.
The 29-year-old man was on the A726, Glasgow Road, in Strathaven on April 1, 2023, when he was struck by a van. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other female pedestrians were taken to hospital for treatment.
The 48-year-old driver of the van is expected to appear in court at a later date.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
