A van driver has died following a one-vehicle crash in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash involving a white Volkswagen Caddy van on Sydes Brae in Blantyre at around 5.35pm on Thursday.
The driver of the van, a 61-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding the crash to come forward.
Sergeant John Houston said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died and we are providing them with support.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the crash and we would ask anyone who witnessed this crash and has yet to speak with police to please contact us. Anyone with relevant dash-cam footage is also asked to come forward.
“If you can help, please contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2711 of October 31.”
