A man has died in hospital five days after a crash between a lorry and a van in Callander.
The collision, involving his Renault Kangoo and a HGV, happened near McLaren Terrace at around 3.50am on Friday.
Emergency services attended and the 45-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
But police confirmed on Wednesday the man had died from his injuries.
Sergeant Michael Shillington said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this crash.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us with any information.
“If anyone has dash-cam footage, please review it and get in touch if it holds any detail which could be relevant.”
