A two-year-old child has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Greenock.
The toddler was hit by the vehicle on East Hamilton Street at the junction with Douglas Rae Road around 3.50pm on Sunday afternoon.
The child was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
Their condition is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokesman added: “The road is closed between Ratho Street and Sinclair Street.”
