Two women and child taken to hospital after crash 

Two women and a child were taken to hospital after a crash in Paisley.

Emergency services were called to a two-car crash on George Street, at the junction with Maxwellton Street, around 1.15pm on Friday.

The crash was said to have caused “significant disruption” within the town.

Officers confirmed that two women and a child were taken to hospital as a precaution.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence as enquiries remain ongoing.
