Two teens charged in connection with attempted murder of boy

Two teenage boys have been charged in connection with an attempted murder after police found a 15-year-old seriously injured in Thornliebank.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance on Boydstone Road at around 11.10pm on Friday night.

Police found an injured schoolboy who was taken to hospital.

Two teenagers, aged 15 and 16-years-old have been arrested and will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, March 1.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
