Two teenagers have been charged after allegedly breaking into East Kilbride shopping centre.

Police were called to the centre following reports of two people forcing the doors open and gaining entry to the building around 1.30am on Sunday.

Two males, aged 17 and 18, were found within the shopping centre and charged with housebreaking with intent to steal.

A report is due to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
