Two teenagers have been injured in a large-scale disturbance in the east end of Glasgow.

Police were called to the Haghill area of the city at around 5.40pm on Sunday evening.

Two men – aged 18 and 17 – were found injured on Aberfeldy Street, near to the junction with Walter Street, following a disturbance involving up to eight people in nearby Cumbernauld Road.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Both were taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where the 18-year-old was treated and has since been discharged. 

“The 17-year-old man remains in the hospital for observations. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
