An 18-year-old and 19-year-old were left with serious injuries following the crash on Keppochhill Road.

Two teenagers have been rushed to hospital after a crash involving a motorbike and Mercedes in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Keppochhill Road at around 1.55am on Tuesday after a Honda motorcycle collided with a Mercedes.

An 18-year-old and 19-year-old travelling on the motorcycle were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The Mercedes driver was uninjured.

The road was closed in both directions for five hours to allow investigations to take place but has since reopened.

Inspector Hugh Niccolls said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances of what happened is under way.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has dash-cam footage to contact us as soon as possible, you may have captured something that could assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0238 of October 3, 2023.”
