Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Paisley.
Emergency services were called to reports a man being seriously injured on George Street at around 8pm on Monday.
The 53-year-old was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
A number of roads were closed, including George Street at Barr Place, Lady Lane at Argyle Street and Castle Street at Argyle Street, with diversions in place.
STV NewsOfficers have arrested and charged a woman, aged 18, and a man, aged 19, in connection with the incident.
The pair are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
