Two teenage boys are in hospital following a double stabbing in South Lanarkshire.
The boys, aged 15 and 16, were attacked on Lickprivick Road in the Greenhills area of East Kilbride around 9.30pm on Friday.
They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but police say their condition is unknown at this time.
Officers are following a “positive line of enquiry” in their investigation into the attack.
A spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Lickprivick Road, East Kilbride to reports of a stabbing at around 9.30pm on Friday.
“Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
