Two taken to hospital after police car crash

A 32-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash involving a police car in Glasgow.

At around 11.15am on Sunday, Police Scotland received a report of the incident on Aikenhead Road at the junction with Prospecthill Road.

A 32-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have both been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

The road is now open having been closed to traffic earlier.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15am on Sunday, February 14, 2021, we received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a police car on Aikenhead Road, Glasgow.

“A 32-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man have been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Officers are assisting with traffic management in the area.”
