Two men have been taken to hospital after an assault at a property in East Kilbride understood to have involved a machete.
Police were called to Whinfell Gardens just after 1am on Wednesday after receiving reports of an assault.
Emergency services took two men, aged 34 and 37, to Wishaw General hospital for treatment.
Enquiries remain ongoing at this time but it is understood that the incident involved a machete.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.05am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 we were called to a report of an assault at premises in Whinfell Gardens, East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 34 and 37, were taken to Wishaw General hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
