Two schoolboys have been charged in connection with the alleged serious assault of a teenager in East Kilbride.
Emergency services were called to the Heathery Knowe area around 5.10pm on September 20 following reports of the attack.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.
Officers have since arrested and charged two male teens, both aged 14, in connection with the alleged assault.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and Children’s Reporter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Friday, September 20, 2024, we were called following a serious assault in the Heathery Knowe area of East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended and a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Two 14-year-olds have since been arrested and charged in connection and a report sent to Procurator Fiscal and Children’s Reporter.”
