Two police officers and driver of car in hospital after crash

Road closures were in place for over five and a half hours following the collision.

Three men, including two police officers, have been taken to hospital after a crash in Glasgow.

The collision involved a car and a marked police vehicle on Dalmarnock Road in the city’s East End at around 5pm on Saturday.

Two male officers and the male driver of the car were taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed for around five and a half hours, with closures between Dalmarnock Road and the Clyde Gateway at Nuneaton Street and Dunn Street.

Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
