An investigation has been launched after two pedestrians were knocked down by a vehicle in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services were called to West Regent Street, near its junction with Wellington Street, at around 3.35pm on Monday afternoon.
One person was checked over by paramedics at the scene, while the other pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment. Their condition is currently unknown.
The road was reopened an hour after the incident. An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, we were called to a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians on West Regent Street, near the junction with Wellington Street, in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and one of the pedestrians was taken to hospital. The other was checked by paramedics at the scene.
“The road was reopened around 4.30pm and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
