Two pedestrians have been hit by a car which mounted the pavement on Byres Road in Glasgow as police sealed off part of a street.
Officers have responded to a report of a crash between a car and two pedestrians on the busy West End road around 11.35am on Sunday.
A section of the pavement at Vinicombe Street has been closed and emergency services are in attendance.
Images from the scene showed damage from the car colliding with a seating area with debris on the pavement.
Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Around 11.35am on Sunday, December 15 2024, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and two pedestrians on Byres Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services are in attendance and a section of the pavement is closed at Vinicombe Street while enquiries continue.
“People are asked to avoid the area.”
