Two men were taken to hospital following a disturbance at a home in North Lanarkshire on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the property on Fleming Way in Hamilton at around 3pm.
Two men, aged 54 and 39, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.
Officers charged the 39-year-old with serious assault. He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Friday, 15 August, 2025 we received a report of a disturbance at a property in Fleming Way, Hamilton.
“Officers attended and two men, aged 54 and 39 were taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
“The 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault and due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, August 18, 2025.
“The 54-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault.”
