Two men have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the M8 in Glasgow.
Officers were alerted to a crash involving two cars and a van on the eastbound carriageway at Hillington Junction 26 on Wednesday evening.
Police confirmed that two male drivers were taken to hospital for treatment.
One driver has been charged in connection with the crash and is set to appear in court at a later date.
The road was closed for around two hours before reopening.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars and a van on the M8 eastbound at junction 26, around 7.25pm on June 19, 2024.
“Emergency services attended and two male drivers were taken to hospital.
“The road was closed for around two hours.
“One male driver was charged in connection with road traffic offences and is due to appear in court at a later date.”
