Two men are in hospital after they were stabbed during a disturbance in Renfrew on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the High Street at around 5.45pm following reports of an incident.
A pair of men, both aged 28, had made their way to the hospital with stab wounds for treatment.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
Detectives say they are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, we were called to a report of a disturbance on High Street in Renfrew.
“Officers attended and two men, both aged 28, had made their way to hospital for treatment to stab wounds.
“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
