Two men have been rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Clydebank.
Police were called to fields on Waulkingmill Road around 1.55pm on Saturday.
Two men, aged 28 and 38, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Detective constable Nicolle Young said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 1821 of October 28, 2023. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
