Two men left with facial injuries after disturbance

Two men have been left with facial injuries following a disturbance in East Dunbartonshire on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to Donaldson Street in Kirkintilloch at around 5pm after reports of an incident.

Two men, aged 34 and 55, received treatment to facial injuries at the scene. The pair were arrested in connection with the disturbance.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 5pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025 officers attended Donaldson Street, Kirkintilloch after reports of a disturbance.

“Two men, aged 34 and 55, were treated at the scene for facial injuries.

“Both men were arrested in connection and enquires are ongoing.”
