Two men have been jailed after cocaine and a firearm was found at a property in Glasgow.
James Murray, 58, and Connor Murray, aged 29, were arrested in March after police searched a property and vehicle on Greenock Road.
Cocaine with an estimated value of £149,000, along with a six-figure sum of cash and a firearm were recovered.
James Murray was sentenced four years in jail while Connor Murray was sentenced to six years.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “This was a significant seizure that has undoubtedly disrupted the supply of illegal drugs in our community and taken a dangerous weapon off our streets.
“It also underlines our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We hope that this sends a clear message that that we will continue to relentlessly pursue and bring to justice those involved in such criminal activities.
“Information from the public is crucial and I would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
