Two men have been taken to hospital and a dog has died following an assault in Glasgow.
Police were called to Luath Street in Govan around 3.15pm on Saturday following reports of an assault.
Two men, aged 37 and 38, were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their current conditions are unknown.
A dog was also injured in the incident and taken to a veterinary practice, where it died a short time later.
Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.15pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023 officers were called to reports of an assault on Luath Street, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 37 and 38, were taken to hospital by ambulance.
“A dog was also injured and was conveyed to a vets, where it died a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
