Two men in hospital after disturbance during early hours

Two men have been taken to hospital following a disturbance in Dumfries and Galloway during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 2.25am on Kirkconnel’s St Conal’s Square West.

Two men were taken to hospital for treatment, their condition is not known.

No arrests have been made in connection. An investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.

Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or have information on the incident to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
