Two men charged year after pedestrian killed in crash

Two men have been charged more than a year after a pedestrian was killed in a crash in Glasgow.

David Gow was killed in the incident that happened on Balmore Road, Glasgow around 6.15pm on February 12, 2023.

Emergency services attended but the 79-year-old died at at the scene.

Police confirmed that two men, aged 23 and 24, have been arrested and charged.

The two men were released and set to appear at court at a later date.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Paul Mellis said “Our thoughts remain with Mr Gow’s family and friends.

“Thank you to all who came forward with information following our appeal.”
