Two men have been charged after an alleged attack in Paisley on Sunday.
Officers were called to Argyle Street in the town at around 6.40pm following reports of an assault.
Emergency services arrived and a 46-year-old man was treated at the scene.
Police Scotland said a 28-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were charged.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 6.40pm on Sunday we were called to a report of an assault on Argyle Street, Paisley.
“Emergency services attended and a 46-year-old man was treated at the scene.
“Two men, aged 28 and 34, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.”
Both men are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
