Two men have been charged following a disturbance involving an offensive weapon in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Ronaldsay Street in the Milton area at around 4.40pm on Sunday following reports of an incident.

A 27-year-old man was charged in connection with a Breach of the Peace and carrying an offensive weapon. A second man, aged 34, was charged in connection with a Breach of the Peace and drugs offences.

The pair were due to appear in court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Sunday, February 2 2025, we received a report a disturbance at Ronaldsay Street, Glasgow.

“Officers attended and a 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a Breach of the Peace and carrying an offensive weapon. A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged connection with a Breach of the Peace and drugs offences.

“A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they were expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, February 3 2025.”
