Two men have been taken to hospital and six arrested after a large scale disturbance in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance on Anniesland Road at Crow Road at around 7.25pm on Sunday.
Police confirmed two men were taken to hospital with “serious” injuries, and six men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Kingsway remains closed at its junction with Anniesland Road and Danes Drive while officers carry out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.25pm on Sunday, May 5, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Anniesland Road at Crow Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and two males were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Six men have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
“Kingsway is closed at its junction with Anniesland Road and Danes Drive while officers carry out enquiries.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area and anyone with any information or concerns can approach these officers.”
