Two people have been taken to hospital after a motorbike struck a pedestrian in Bearsden.

Emergency services were called to Dunnochter Road at around 8.20am on Thursday after reports of a motorbike hitting a pedestrian on the road.

Two ambulances and a critical care team transported the patients to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Their current condition is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Thursday, May 28, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving motorcyclist and pedestrian at Dunnochter Road, Bearsden.

“Both have been taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.17am to attend an incident on Antonine Road, Bearsden.

“Two ambulances and a critical care team were dispatched to the scene, and two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
