Two in hospital after 'disturbance' as police close road

Two men have been taken to hospital after a disturbance in Clydebank.

Emergency services were called to Whitecrook Street in the town around 1.15pm on Saturday to reports of a disturbance.

Two men, aged 54 and 56, were taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Police have closed Whitecrook Street to continue enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.15pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026, police received a report of a disturbance on Whitecrook Street, Clydebank.

“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 54 and 56, were taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“Whitecrook Street is closed as police conduct enquiries.”
