Two charged after teen found 'seriously injured' and taken to hospital

Two men have been charged after another was found seriously injured in Glasgow.

Officers were alerted to the incident that happened on Loretto Street between 2.55pm and 3.05pm on May 31.

Police confirmed that a 19-year-old male was “seriously” injured and taken to hospital.

Two men, aged 18 and 20, have been charged in connection with the incident.

Both are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Enquiries into the incident are “ongoing” as police work to trace two other men seen in the area at the time of the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2438 of Friday, May 31, 2024, or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.“
