Two men have been charged after a haul of drugs including heroin and ecstasy worth £57,200 was seized in a raid in Dumfries.
Officers made the recovery after carrying out warrants in the Goldie Crescent area of the town around 6pm on Monday.
Police discovered drugs including cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, amphetamines, and cannabis with a total estimated street value of around £57,200, along with nearly £70,000 in cash.
Two men, aged 51 and 56, were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery, and are expected to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on June, 18.
Detective inspector Graeme Robertson from Dumfries CID said: “This enforcement action demonstrates our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We will pursue every means possible to disrupt individuals bringing drugs into our communities for their own illicit gain.
“Operations like this rely on assistance from our local communities and I would encourage anyone who has any concerns about drugs or has information about those involved in drugs that you contact Police on 101 or make an anonymous repot to Crimstestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
