A man and woman have been charged after £150,000 worth of drugs were seized on Friday.
Officers acting on intelligence searched the pair on Motherwell’s Muir Street and reportedly discovered a large quantity of cannabis.
A 40-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were charged in connection with the incident.
The pair are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Superintendent Steven Elliott said: “We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting sale of illegal substances and preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.
