Two boys have been charged after a boat was stolen and taken onto the water at a Renfrewshire loch.
Police received a report of a boat being stolen from a club at Castle Semple in Lochwinnoch around 8.55pm on Wednesday.
Images showed a large emergency services presence on Lochlip Road after the boat was taken onto the water.
Two figures can be seen on the boat in the loch, with one standing and appearing to use a paddle.
The two youths then appeared to get into difficulty and were traced safely.

Police said the two boys have since been charged in connection with theft.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.55pm on Wednesday, April 29, we received a report of the theft of a boat from a club on the Lochlip Road area of Lochwinnoch.
“Emergency services attended as the boat was taken onto the water and the occupants, two males youths, appeared to be in difficulty.
“The youths were traced safely.
“They have been charged in connection with theft, and a report will be sent to the relevant authorities.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9.05pm on Wednesday to attend an incident at Lochwinnoch.
“We dispatched our special operations team and treated two patients at the scene.”
